KANGNAM JEVISCO Co., Ltd. (www.jevisco.com) announced the launch of “GreenSol RS Shield,” a high-weather-resistance exterior water-based paint designed to improve both the durability and appearance of building exteriors.
“GreenSol RS Shield” has obtained Reliability Standard (RS) certification in accordance with the reliability evaluation standard RS M 0026. The product is formulated with a water-based acrylic modified silicone emulsion resin, providing excellent weather resistance for exterior architectural applications.
The paint can be applied as an exterior topcoat on various building materials, including concrete, cement mortar, and slate boards. It forms a dense and durable coating film that helps prevent the penetration of external contaminants while delivering outstanding stain resistance.
Compared to conventional acrylic water-based paints, the product offers significantly improved weather resistance, durability, and stain resistance. It effectively protects building exteriors that are exposed for long periods to harsh outdoor conditions such as UV rays and rapid climate changes. In addition, it minimizes discoloration and coating deterioration, helping buildings maintain their appearance for a longer time while extending maintenance cycles and reducing overall maintenance costs.
“GreenSol RS Shield” complies with the Korean Standard for architectural coatings (KS M 6010 Type 1, Grade 1) and has also obtained an Eco-Label certification, ensuring both product quality and environmental performance. Based on a dry film thickness of approximately 60㎛, it provides excellent coating efficiency and can be applied using rollers, brushes, or spray equipment, making it suitable for both new construction and repainting projects.
